Nintendo Switch Version of Rocket League Coming This Year; Features Cross-Platform Play

Rocket League would be coming to the platform later this year- the Switch version of Rocket League will feature cross-platform play, meaning you can enjoy the Switch version with your PS4, Xbox and PC-playing friends. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIxKvle_zPE&feature=youtu.be It’s not a tremendous surprise that Rocket League is coming to the Switch- it’s a natural fit for Nintendo’s multiplayer-oriented handheld/home-console hybrid. The idea of Rocket League on the road sounds pretty exciting; if you’ve never played this game before, you should know that it’s a tremendously fun hybrid of auto sports and, well, ordinary sports. Imagine chasing a soccer ball around a massive field in a rocket-powered car- that’s Rocket League in a nutshell. The game was a huge hit for Psyonix when it launched on PC and PS4, and it’s been making it’s way to other platforms, where it’s been finding success. Rocket League is set to come to the Nintendo Switch late 2017; from the looks of things, this Switch version of the game will feature a few exclusive Nintendo-themed cosmetics. Excited?
